Information required for install

Head flashings

Cut to fin length or cut —–mm longer

Super course

Fitted to all b/v none fitted to other claddings

Decks

If there is a deck please check if butynol is to be fitted. If so this has to be done before installation can happen
To make an item fit, allow for -5 lapping of butynol, support bar 00474 is an extra 8mm step

Scaffold

No scaffold is quoted for unless requested
If there is scaffold on site please ensure that there is clearance to get joinery into building

Internal wall covering

Check internal gib thickness i.e. 10mm gib 13mm gib or other

Council

Does the local council require a pre window inspection after the house is wrapped? And if so the permit holder must book (please supply us with date and time)

Rebates

If rebates are used please supply depth of rebate for joinery to sit down by
Also we require enough room to insert packers to the cill so rebate needs to be bigger

Site access

Please note, bad driveways uneven sites and multi story building so we can take extra bodies if required or additional site glazing
Stackers to S Off , need to be very accurate as hard to seal
Cill trays taking extra 5mm for packing & leveling

Included in install

  • Delivery to site
  • Wrapping of opening with thermakraft ali band but not cutting& folding of building wrap
  • Packing and squaring of all windows and doors
  • Fitting of cill support bars if required
  • Fitting of head flashings if required
  • Pef rod and expanding foam to inside
  • Removable of rubbish
  • Inspection of all joinery after fitting

Average brick install of 20-22 windows and doors 1 day. With head flashing and cill support bars 1.5 days
Please check butt joint and bay windows that the head and cills line up. If install to soffit we can supply story rods to ensure joinery meets at top
Large and wide items if possible need to be site glazed

Not included

  • Fitting of scribers to exterior cladding
  • We do not supply or fit architraves to interior
  • Removing of bracing or floor plates
