It is great to be back up and running after the lockdown period of April.
We prepared for lockdown as quickly as we could and we greatly appreciated receiving the government wage subsidy. This helped us to pay all our staff 80% of their wages for 5 weeks.
At Alert 3 we were able to restart our saws and continue making windows and doors. Our team was split into 2 shifts to follow the Alert 3 requirements of physical distancing and hygiene.
At Alert 2 we can now open our showroom to customers and we have set up hygiene and contact tracing protocols. We want to thank everyone who helped us to meet the government requirements and operate safely.
Despite the significant challenges of operating in the Covid 19 Alert System, our team has learned a lot of valuable lessons. We are now much tidier and cleaner in all aspects of our work and personal hygiene. We are more considerate of our work mates and we have learned to be more flexible in how we operate.
Now we are focused once again on providing quality products and service to our customers.
